Welcome to the Seed Lady Network!

The Seed Lady Network is dedicated to open source seed sharing, free from transgenic contamination and patent piracy. To this end, every effort is being made to provide an environment to share private seed stock and keep sources for traditional non-GMO seeds available to the people for generations to come. Our intention is to provide safe alternatives for individuals and families who wish to avoid consumption of genetically altered foods.

If you have been saving seeds from that special veggie and would like to share some with others, list your seeds on the Network. Whether you are offering them for free to replenish another’s lost stock, or would like to trade for something else to add to your collection, just list your terms in the ad along with your contact information, and swap away!

Seed Lady is designed to be a horizontally integrated platform for individual seed sharers to reach out across the globe with their precious seed resources, in order to combat growing corporate control over our food supply, starting with the seed.

The Seed Lady Team encourages everyone, both individual seed swappers and established seed companies, to take the following non-biotech seed source pledge:

Farm Wars

Garden like your life depends on it – because it does!

In this age of rampant contamination of our food supply by pesticides, toxic sludge, radiation, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), as well as increasing regulations restricting family farmers and people that merely want to use the space in their yards for something useful such as growing food, we would all do well to start learning how to plant a garden, and save the seeds from those crops for future plantings and to share with neighbors and friends so that if one person gets shut down, then others can share their saved seeds and the garden can be started right back up again.

This is guerrilla warfare using seeds as weapons of mass deliverance.  (more…)

Take a look at this video of the inside of the Doomsday Seed Vault. Does anyone else find it interesting that this Global Seed Bank contains pure, non-GMO seeds just in case there is a catastrophic event that would require re-seeding the entire planet?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Monsanto and our Federal Government are working tirelessly to infect the entire planet with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), while at the same time making sure that the average Joe is unable to save his own seeds through a combination of  Terminator seed technology and Gestapo-like practices, and is forced to propagate the very GMO scourge that the Doomsday Seed Vault is built to address.

So, we have a huge global seed bank that contains seeds that the average Joe hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell of gaining access to, and no privately-owned personal seed banks. And just who do you think will have access to the only remaining supply of unaltered seeds after this planned-for and orchestrated catastrophe? Your guess is as good as mine, but I’ll place my bet on the ruling elite after they exterminate 80% of the little people like you and me through a combination of complete control over food and water, as well as endless war.

The solution? If we allow this takeover to happen, and it is happening right before our eyes, then we need to be prepared to maintain a grassroots underground network of private food suppliers or succumb to whatever the ruling elite have planned for us. And just what is that plan? Let me spell it out: G E N O C I D E.

In this day and age of GMO grains and veggies, one way to make sure that you have an endless supply of your own organic seeds is to save your own.

I will start this series of videos with the collection and storage of tomato seeds.

The first step towards collecting and storing your seeds  is to grow your own tomatoes in a container, open garden space, or whatever area you have designated for growing your own food. Now you have the foundation for creating your very own seed bank.

Make sure the seeds you use for your garden are organic heirloom seeds. These seeds can be purchased at a number of online retailers specializing in organic seeds, just Google “organic seeds.” Get them while you can, then start saving your own.

If you have a packet of seeds and are unsure whether or not they are GMO, just Google the seed company and search their site. Most companies that have non-GMO seeds will tell you on their site. If you cannot find the information on the site, get the phone number and call the company. If they say they don’t know, or do not say right away that their seeds are non-GMO, then run, do not walk, away.

Remember that legislation is brought forth constantly by the Monsantos of this world to destroy the organic protections we now enjoy by including new rules for organic certification allowing GMO, irradiation, and sewage sludge. So don’t assume, ask.
